Xbox Showcase Unveils Exciting New Titles

The 2024 Xbox Showcase was filled with exciting announcements, showcasing new entries in popular franchises and upcoming releases.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the first entry in the franchise under Microsoft’s ownership, is set to release on October 25, 2024. Bethesda revealed Doom: The Dark Ages, a follow-up to Doom Eternal, scheduled for a 2025 launch. Microsoft also announced a new Gears of War prequel, E-Day.

Microsoft gave a sneak peek at gameplay for the upcoming Perfect Dark reboot, with no release date yet. Additionally, gameplay for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was revealed.

In Xbox’s first-party lineup, fans can look forward to the new Fable game from Playground in 2025, and Obsidian’s Avowed in 2024. Compulsion showcased gameplay for South of Midnight, set to release this year.

Blizzard is working on expansions for World of Warcraft and Diablo 4, both launching this year. DLC for Starfield and Fallout 76 is also in the works, with release dates set for 2024.

On the third-party front, EA’s Dragon Age franchise, now called The Veilguard, is set to release in autumn 2024. Square Enix announced a new Life is Strange title, Double Exposure, launching on October 29.

Kepler Interactive unveiled two new games: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 from Sandfall Interactive in 2025, and Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn from A44 Games on July 17th. GSC Game World showcased Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, set for a September 5th release, while Rebellion introduced Atomfall, coming in 2025.

Finally, Microsoft announced the release of three new Xbox Series consoles, adding to the excitement of the showcase.
