Stay Connected with the Coal Industry Through the Friends of Coal App
A new app has been launched to keep users informed about the latest news and developments in the coal industry. The Friends of Coal app is a user-friendly platform that provides direct access to up-to-date information and key issues affecting West Virginia’s coal sector as well as the national industry.
Chris Hamilton, the president and CEO of the West Virginia Coal Association, praised the app, which was developed by the South Charleston-based internet company Bricks Without Straw. The app offers a range of features including industry updates, social media feeds, and action alerts.
“We urge all supporters of the coal industry, whether they are based in West Virginia or elsewhere in the country, to download the Friends of Coal app,” said Hamilton. “It is a valuable tool for coal advocates to connect and engage on matters that are crucial to the mining sector and our local economies.”
