On the evening of July 13, users of the Steam platform began reporting widespread connectivity issues. Starting around 20:00 MSK, gamers encountered difficulties in syncing cloud saves and launching online games. This intermittent access occasionally allowed for brief moments of connectivity, only to be followed by further disruptions.
Impact on Popular Titles
Games hosted on Valve’s servers are also experiencing significant challenges. In Dota 2, players are unable to initiate match searches, with the interface displaying a persistent “Searching for network” message. Similarly, Counter-Strike 2 users are met with an analogous error that redirects them back to the main menu.
The root cause of these outages remains unclear. However, it is anticipated that full access to the platform will be restored within a few hours.
