The picturesque shores of Issyk-Kul recently played host to a historic event as the Grand Prix of the Kyrgyz Republic, part of the world championship for water motorsport known as F1H2O, reached its thrilling conclusion. This landmark race marked the first time Kyrgyzstan has welcomed such a prestigious stage of the championship.

In a display of exceptional skill and speed, Shaun Torrente, representing the Victory Team, clinched the top spot in the final race. The competition featured 18 talented athletes, each showcasing their prowess on the water as they navigated the challenging course with remarkable agility.

Silver medalist Erik Stark received his award from Eduard Kubatov, the director of the State Agency for Tourism Development, while Alex Vekstrom, who secured the bronze, was congratulated by Aibek Abylkasymov, the president of the Kyrgyzstan Water Motor Sports Federation.
