Vampire Crawlers Released on iOS and Android – Mobile Version Price Unpleasantly Surprised Players

The Cost Discrepancy

Poncle studio has recently launched the mobile version of Vampire Crawlers, a spin-off of the popular Vampire Survivors game, on iOS and Android platforms. The game introduces players to a turn-based card roguelike experience with first-person dungeon exploration, featuring familiar characters and exciting gameplay mechanics.

Players engage in battles by strategically playing card combinations to enhance attack effects, with special cards allowing for extended chains and powerful damage against opponents. In between battles, players can explore dungeons, discover treasures, and collect gems to upgrade their cards. The game also offers a village setting where players can purchase permanent upgrades and gear up for their next adventure.

Despite the game’s promising features, the pricing of the mobile version has sparked some controversy among players. In the Russian App Store, Vampire Crawlers is priced at 899 rubles, significantly higher than the regular price of 385 rubles on Steam. With the current discount on Steam, the game is available for just 308 rubles, making the mobile version almost three times more expensive than the discounted PC option.

It is worth noting that the PC version of the game can be played on Android devices using emulators like Winlator or GameHub, allowing players to synchronize their progress with Steam. Given the game’s low hardware requirements, most modern smartphones should have no trouble running Vampire Crawlers smoothly.
