93 Percent Of Capcom’s Game Sales Are Digital And The Company Expects That Number To Grow

Capcom reported that 93 percent of its total game sales were digital for the fiscal year from March 2025 to March 2026, a rise from 90 percent in the previous two years and 75 percent in 2022. The company has achieved nine consecutive years of record profits, driven by new titles and established franchises. Digital sales growth is largely attributed to an increase in PC gaming, with PC sales rising from 33 percent in 2022 to 54.5 percent in fiscal 2026. Capcom forecasts digital sales will reach 95.5 percent of total sales by next year. Despite the shift to digital, physical sales still accounted for seven percent of total sales, translating to over 4 million copies sold globally.

Zelda: Twilight Princess PC port forced to change its name, and for once Nintendo has nothing to do with it

The developers of the unofficial PC port of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess have rebranded the project as Dusklight to avoid trademark conflicts with an established first-person shooter named Dusk, which is owned by New Blood Interactive. The developers announced this decision in a Discord update, stating that no other changes to the project are planned. New Blood Interactive, which holds the trademark for Dusk, expressed appreciation for the developers' cooperation and hinted at a potential crossover between the two games. They are also offering keys for the Dusk Switch to the Dusklight community. Meanwhile, a fan-made port of Jak and Daxter 3 is currently in beta, completing Naughty Dog's trilogy on PC.

Bungie is turning Marathon’s loot dial to 11 ahead of its first wipe, opening up Cryo Archive 24/7

Marathon's upcoming "end of season" update will be released on May 19 and will include several key changes to improve gameplay. Locked room keys will now be guaranteed rewards from on-map events, allowing access to coveted loot rooms on Tau Ceti. Map events such as Intercept, Lockdown, Warden spawns, Convoy, and Anomaly will be guaranteed on each run. Warden bosses will appear in more locations, increasing the frequency of room keys. The Cryo Archive entrance restrictions will be removed, and a new Ranked Cryo Archive playlist will be introduced. Faction experience gains will increase, key templates will remain intact if players are downed, wall safes will have a chance to yield deluxe keys, and the Signal Mask ability will have an extended duration while sprinting. Season 2: Nightfall will launch on June 2, introducing a new Night Marsh zone, a fresh Runner shell, new weaponry, and a system for customizing Runner shell stats. Full details will be revealed during the week of May 25.

The Fortnite Overwatch collab is playing it safe, but at least it’s finally real
