Tearscape: A Gothic Action RPG for Mobile
NERDS TAKE OVER studio has recently launched Tearscape, a gothic action RPG, on Android and iOS platforms. The game, designed with pixel graphics reminiscent of classic Game Boy Color games, offers players a two-dimensional top-down adventure in a world inspired by The Legend of Zelda and Metroidvanias, with a dark and eerie atmosphere similar to Bloodborne.
Players take on the role of a hunter exploring a vast interconnected world filled with dungeons, branching paths, and hidden passages. Combat in Tearscape requires strategic planning, as players must manage stamina, time their attacks and dodges, and wisely use healing flasks. By defeating enemies and bosses, the hero can enhance their abilities and expand their arsenal.
Exploring dungeons in Tearscape rewards players with tools and abilities to tackle tougher foes and unlock new areas. Along the journey, players will encounter various characters offering advice or quests, some of whom may have hidden agendas.
The mobile version of Tearscape offers features such as achievements, cloud saves, and gamepad support. Additionally, players can enjoy local co-op gameplay on a single device by connecting two controllers.
Originally released on Steam in February 2026, Tearscape has garnered positive reviews from users, with over 90% of the 330 reviews being favorable. The game is priced at 699 rubles on the Russian Google Play store and 899 rubles on the App Store.
