The gaming landscape on Steam has seen some intriguing shifts recently, with the laid-back role-playing game Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time making a notable impact. This title, developed by Level 5, launched on May 21st and quickly garnered critical acclaim, securing its position as the second highest-grossing game last week. It follows closely behind the ever-popular Counter-Strike 2, which continues to dominate the charts at No. 1.
Chart Movements and New Entries
In a remarkable display of resilience, Dota 2 has surged 31 spots, thanks to the newly released Spring Forward patch, now sitting comfortably at No. 3. Meanwhile, Valve’s Steam Deck maintains its stronghold as the fourth highest-grossing item on the platform.
Helldivers 2 has also made headlines, climbing three positions to No. 5 following a substantial update that revitalized player interest. Pre-orders for the eagerly awaited Elden Ring Nightreign have propelled it to No. 6, marking a 12-spot increase week-on-week. This is particularly impressive considering the competitive environment.
Newcomer RoadCraft, a vehicle simulation title from Saber Interactive, debuted at No. 7 shortly after its May 20th release. The enduring Warframe has re-entered the Top Ten, now at No. 8, buoyed by a series of fresh content releases. Apex Legends has also seen a resurgence, climbing three places to No. 9.
Completing the top ten is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which has slipped four spots to land at No. 10. Notably absent from this week’s rankings is Doom: The Dark Ages, which has experienced a significant drop to No. 21 in the grossing charts.
