SEGA Offers 9 Games for Free on Google Play
The legendary developer SEGA has made a generous offer to Google Play users by providing a collection of 9 games for free, without any ads, and with permanent access. These games will soon be removed from the app stores, so now is the perfect time to grab them and enjoy them on your device.
SEGA, a company with a rich history dating back to 1960, has brought many of its iconic titles to mobile platforms through the SEGA Forever program. While the program is not truly forever, as the games will be taken down from the stores, once you install them, they will remain on your device indefinitely.
Previously, these games were either paid or offered for free with ads that could be removed through in-app purchases. The announcement of the games’ removal was not made through a press release but through a pop-up window in each title, directing users to the SEGA homepage for more information.
Even after the games are removed from the Play Store, they will still be playable for those who claimed them on their account. This has been the case with previous SEGA Forever titles that were pulled from stores in the past.
With the SEGA Forever program coming to an end in 2023, this move was expected. The games, including classics like Crazy Taxi, Golden Ax, Shining Force, Sonic CD, Streets of Rage, Super Monkey Ball, and Virtua Tennis Challenge, have been enjoyed by millions of players over the years.
