Akatsuki Games Unveils Official Trailer for Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME
Akatsuki Games has recently unveiled the first official trailer for Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME, a highly anticipated project set to launch on mobile and PC platforms through Apple’s App Store, Google Play, and Steam.
The trailer offers a sneak peek at various characters from the anime series, including the iconic Kaiju No. 8 and Kikoru Shinomiya, gearing up for epic battles against massive kaiju creatures.

Following the trailer release, a dedicated website for the video game was launched after a countdown concluded over the weekend.
Kaiju No. 8 made its debut on April 13, 2024, and is currently available for streaming on platforms like Crunchyroll, bilibili, and X (formerly Twitter), with a total of 12 episodes scheduled for broadcast.
The anime is an adaptation of Naoya Matsumoto’s manga series, which premiered in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ on July 3, 2020. The manga has since released 12 tankobon volumes as of April 2024, with the 13th volume set to hit shelves on July 4, 2024.
VIZ Media is also bringing the Kaiju No. 8 manga series to English-speaking audiences, providing a synopsis that follows Kafka’s journey to fulfill his childhood promise of joining the Japan Defense Force alongside his friend Mina, who leads the charge against kaiju threats.
