Next Lords of the Fallen Game Confirmed for 2026 – IGN

The Next Lords of the Fallen Game Launches in 2026

The highly anticipated next installment in the Lords of the Fallen series is set to launch in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S, according to an announcement from publisher CI Games.

CI Games has revealed that they have signed a publishing deal with Epic Games for the PC version of the game, indicating that it will not be available on Steam. However, CI Games will retain the rights to the game and the series, as well as publishing rights on all non-PC platforms.

Lords of the Fallen Success and Future Plans

The original Lords of the Fallen game, developed by Hexworks and released in 2023, has sold 1.3 million copies as of the end of last year. CI Games CEO Marek Tyminski described this as a “solid” result and expressed plans for further development of the brand.

IGN’s review of Lords of the Fallen gave it a score of 8/10, praising its dual-realities premise despite some performance issues and boss battles.

Company Restructuring and Future Outlook

In a move towards greater efficiency, CI Games implemented staff layoffs earlier this year, letting go of 10% of employees in January and an additional 30 in May. The company stated that these layoffs were part of their strategy to optimize delivery of their strategic priorities moving forward, with Hexworks remaining unaffected.
