In a notable shift within the Australian gaming landscape, Red Dead Redemption 2 has reclaimed its position at the top of the charts for the week ending January 26, 2025, as reported by IGEA. This resurgence highlights the game’s enduring popularity and appeal among players.

Following closely in second place is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, buoyed by the recent launch of its PC version, which has undoubtedly attracted a new audience and reignited interest among existing fans.

The rankings also saw Grand Theft Auto V and EA Sports FC 25 make upward movements, now occupying the third and fourth spots, respectively. Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 experienced a slight decline, dropping two positions to fifth place.

In a remarkable ascent, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege surged from tenth to sixth place, showcasing its continued relevance in the competitive gaming arena. Conversely, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD slipped from second to eighth in its second week, indicating a typical post-launch adjustment.
