Roblox Introduces New Analytics Tools for Developers
Games platform Roblox has announced the launch of a new set of analytics tools designed to assist its developers in tracking key metrics. The company revealed in a post on its creator forum that the new dashboards will focus on monitoring economy events and funnel events.
The economy dashboard will provide insights into how users acquire and spend currency within the platform, as well as offering data on the average wallet balance of users. On the other hand, the funnel dashboard will enable developers to identify where players are dropping off during various stages such as onboarding and shopping.
Roblox has already conducted testing on these new tools and has received positive feedback from creators who have had early access. One developer shared, “By monitoring my economy graphs, I realized that there wasn’t enough incentive for users to spend our currency. So I added more sinks to balance my economy.” Another developer mentioned, “Funnels have been great – I’ve been using them to test new features and streamline our new user onboarding.”
