Reporting directly to Cécile Russeil, the company’s Executive Vice President of communications, corporate affairs, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), accessibility, human resources, and legal, Froidefond is set to bring a wealth of experience to the role.
Experience and Responsibilities
With over 30 years in the human resources sector, Froidefond’s most recent position was as the HR lead for the Americas at Groupe Lactalis, a prominent player in the food industry. His extensive background positions him well to oversee a comprehensive array of HR functions at Ubisoft. According to the company, his responsibilities will encompass:

Ubisoft emphasized that Froidefond will be instrumental in aligning HR efforts with the company’s overarching strategic objectives, ensuring that the human resources department plays a pivotal role in driving the organization forward.
This appointment comes in the wake of Anika Grant’s departure from the position in November 2023, marking a new chapter for Ubisoft as it seeks to strengthen its workforce and cultivate a thriving workplace environment.
