2023-2024 Minecraft Challenge Winners Announced
Students from Queneesh, Aspen Park, and Lake Trail have emerged as the first-place winners of the 2023-2024 Minecraft Challenge: Comox Valley Adventurescape: Theme Park Edition. This year’s challenge required participants to design a theme park that embodies the spirit of the Comox Valley while promoting environmental responsibility.
The creativity displayed by the students was truly remarkable, with projects ranging from “Salmonland” near Lewis Park to the solar- and rain-powered “Amooosement Park” by Huband Park students. Lake Trail students wowed the judges with roller coasters on Mount Washington, while Cumberland students impressed with their Cumberland Coal Mine Theme Park.
The competition was intense, but the students rose to the occasion and delivered exceptional work.
