A 23-year-old resident of South Charleston, Dale Adam Barbour Jr., has been charged with the distribution of child pornography following an investigation that revealed his involvement in sharing explicit videos of minors on an online messaging platform. The case unfolded after authorities received a tip indicating that Barbour was uploading inappropriate content via the Kik Messenger app.

According to court documents filed with the Kanawha County Magistrate, investigators acted swiftly upon receiving the information. They secured a search warrant for the Kik application, which led to the discovery of ten videos, each lasting under five minutes, that depicted children engaged in sexual acts.
