Samsung Prepares for One UI 9.0 Launch

In anticipation of the stable release of One UI 9.0, Samsung is diligently updating its suite of applications and modules to ensure a seamless transition for users. This month marks a significant milestone as the tech giant gears up for the unveiling of its latest software iteration.

Among the recent updates is the Display Assistant module, now available in version 9.0.08 through the Galaxy Store. This update, weighing in at 7.92MB, primarily enhances compatibility with One UI 9.0 (Android 17), ensuring that the application functions optimally on devices equipped with the new software. However, it is worth noting that this update does not introduce any new features, bug fixes, or performance enhancements.

Samsung has already rolled out compatibility updates for several Good Lock modules, including ClockFace, LockStar, MultiStar, NavStar, and RegiStar, with plans to update the remaining modules in the near future. This proactive approach underscores the company’s commitment to delivering a cohesive user experience across its ecosystem.

The highly anticipated One UI 9.0 will make its debut alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. These devices are set to be announced on July 22, 2026, with availability for consumers beginning on August 5, 2026. Concurrently, Samsung is expected to initiate the rollout of the stable One UI 9.0 update for existing flagship models, including the Galaxy S26 series, further enhancing the user experience for its loyal customer base.
