The METS My Ride Bus Tracking website has officially gone live, paving the way for an accompanying mobile application set to debut in the upcoming weeks.

This innovative app is poised to transform the way passengers interact with the city’s bus system. Users will be able to track the real-time location of buses, providing them with precise information on arrival times and current seating capacity. Todd Robertson, the Executive Director of Transportation and Services, expressed enthusiasm about the new features, stating, “This is a great resource for our passengers and offers much more.”
The app is not just about convenience; it also serves a strategic purpose. With the installation of new devices on the buses, officials will gain valuable insights into passenger behavior, including which stops are most frequented. This data will be instrumental in planning future enhancements, such as the addition of shelters and benches at key locations.
