Christian Kleinerman, EVP of Product at Snowflake, emphasized the necessity of integrating AI into everyday systems. Snowflake Postgres now operates natively within the AI Data Cloud, addressing the challenges posed by disparate systems, such as high costs, sluggish development, increased risk, and delayed insights. This integration ensures full compatibility with open-source Postgres, allowing for seamless migration of existing applications to Snowflake without necessitating code alterations.
With Snowflake Postgres, users can harness critical AI capabilities and applications, analyze business performance and trends with the latest operational data, and develop AI-driven features—like recommendations or forecasting—using the same data without the need for inter-system transfers.
