The ID@Xbox program recently held its Spring Digital Showcase, unveiling an eclectic mix of over 30 independent game titles that will grace the console in the upcoming year. Among the highlights were games like Thunder Lotus’ 33 Immortals and Enhance’s Humanity, which were announced as Day One additions to the Xbox Game Pass. Gamera Games also shared news of five new indie titles launching on Xbox and/or PC Game Pass this year, including the already available The Rewinder. A Glimpse into the Future of Gaming

For the action-roguelike enthusiasts, 33 Immortals promises an MMO-like experience where players can join forces with 32 companions to challenge the forces of Lucifer. Those without a legion of friends can still dive in, thanks to instant matchmaking. An early access title, 33 Immortals is inviting players to partake in a closed beta later this May.
Meanwhile, Q-Games returns with All You Need is Help, a co-op puzzle game where players manipulate fluffy cube-shaped creatures to overcome various challenges. This quirky title is expected to hit Xbox Game Pass in Fall 2024.
Commandos: Origins reboots a beloved franchise, taking players to WW2’s diverse war theaters, from African deserts to Scandinavian fjords. Although its release date is still under wraps, a closed beta is set for this summer.
For puzzle aficionados, Dungeons of Hinterberg offers an Austrian Alps adventure, mixing dungeon-crawling with coffee breaks by the lake. The game will launch on Xbox Game Pass on July 18, promising a colorful escapade.
