A Minecraft Movie 2 Finally Has Its Official Title Revealed

Warner Bros. announced a sequel to A Minecraft Movie, titled A Minecraft Sequel, set to be released on July 23, 2027. Jared Hess will direct, and Chris Galletta will co-write the screenplay. The returning cast includes Jack Black as Steve, Jason Momoa as Garrett Garrison, Danielle Brooks as Dawn, and Jennifer Coolidge as Vice Principal Marlene. Kirsten Dunst joins the cast as Alex. The plot details are not yet revealed, but it is expected to continue adventures in the Overworld. Minecraft 26.2 Snapshot 3 Introduces New Sulfur Spike Blocks

The Minecraft 26.2 Snapshot 3 introduces Sulfur Spike blocks, which generate naturally on Sulfur blocks in the Sulfur Cave biomes. These blocks can form stalactites when placed on ceilings and stalagmites when placed on the ground. Players can combine two Sulfur Spikes to create elongated formations. Falling stalactites can damage players, and if there are no blocks above or below them, they will break and drop. Players can also break these spikes using a Minecraft Trident. Additionally, Potent Sulfur blocks can no longer be reverted back to Sulfur blocks, and the Sulfur Cube mob is no longer transportable via boats. Texture updates have been applied to several blocks, including Chiseled Cinnabar, Chiseled Sulfur, Cinnabar, Cinnabar Bricks, Polished Cinnabar, Polished Sulfur, and Sulfur Bricks.

Tomorrow Is Xbox Game Pass’ Biggest Day of 2026 So Far

Xbox Game Pass will introduce three new titles: Replaced, Hades II, and The Thaumaturge. Replaced is a day-one Xbox console exclusive developed by Sad Cat Studios, while Hades II, from Supergiant Games, will be available for the first time on Xbox Game Pass on April 14, 2025. The Thaumaturge, an RPG from Fool’s Theory and 11 Bit Studios, debuted in 2024 and will also join the service. Only two of these titles will be classified as Xbox Game Pass Premium additions, and subscribers to the Xbox Game Pass Essential tier will not receive new content. Replaced will not be available to Xbox Game Pass Premium subscribers, and a 20% discount will be offered on each title while available.
