How to get a ship in Windrose

Players in Windrose start their journey by acquiring a ship, beginning with a rowboat and upgrading to a Ketch by completing missions: "How My Shore Adventure Began," "I Need a Bigger Boat," and "Rescuing the Crew." Hades 2, the Award-Winning Sequel, Lands on Xbox Game Pass Soon

Hades 2 has been recognized as one of CNET's best games of 2025, winning Best Action Game at the 2025 Game of the Year awards and Best Game on Steam Deck at the Steam Awards. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting Tuesday. Xbox Game Pass offers a library of games for a monthly fee, with the premium Game Pass Ultimate subscription providing access to hundreds of games, including new releases on launch day. DayZ, a multiplayer survival game, is now available on Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Essential, and PC Game Pass. Endless Legend 2, a fantasy strategy game, has been added to Game Pass Premium. FBC: Firebreak, a first-person shooter, is also new to Game Pass Premium. Planet Coaster 2, a park management game, is part of Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. Ollie has escaped the Maw but needs time to recuperate after an encounter with Edwin. Julian anticipates a busy weekend due to a stag do but looks forward to playing strategy games afterward.

PC Gamer’s ‘first can’t-miss cozy game of 2026’ has gone missing on Steam, and some players think Tetris is to blame

PC Gamer's Mollie Taylor praised the Starsand Island demo in December 2025, while Lauren Morton called it "the first can't-miss cozy game of 2026" in February. The game is currently unavailable on Steam due to the developer, Seed Sparkle Lab, using unauthorized visual elements from a classic title in their mini-game section. They apologized for this oversight and are working on a new build to remove the contentious content. Fans speculate the classic title might be Tetris, but this is unconfirmed. Seed Sparkle has decided to temporarily delist Starsand Island and will reward current owners with the "Shining Star" outfit set once the revised version is approved. Players' progress will remain intact. The studio is enhancing its internal review processes following this incident and a previous wave of fake positive user reviews. A specific return date for the game on Steam has not been disclosed, but it is still available on the Xbox Store.

Minecraft Java Snapshot Introduces New Mob and Sulfur Caves Biome

The Minecraft Java snapshot, named Chaos Cubed, introduces the Sulfur Caves biome, featuring Sulfur Springs and blocks of Sulfur and Cinnabar. It includes a new block called Potent Sulfur, which generates gas bubbles causing nausea and can be crafted from nine regular Sulfur blocks. A new mob, the Sulfur Cube, can absorb nearby blocks and transform into a ball-like state, with nine behavior types affecting its interactions. Adjustments have been made to Beds and Slime Blocks, allowing Slime Blocks to continuously bounce mobs when air drag is removed. The rendering system has transitioned from OpenGL to Vulkan for optimized graphics processing, while OpenGL remains available for older hardware. The snapshot is available for Java edition users and can be tested in the Bedrock preview, with a full release expected in June.
