AI Copilot+

Microsoft has postponed the release of the Recall function in AI Copilot+ for Windows 11, originally scheduled for June 18. The feature automatically captures screenshots of user activity to retrieve information using AI. However, it has faced criticism for security and privacy concerns, leading to an investigation by the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK. The information captured by Recall is stored in public SQLite databases, prompting Microsoft to delay the feature's release to enhance security measures.
