Aspyr has released a hotfix for the remastered versions of Tomb Raider 4-6 to remove "unauthorised AI-generated content," specifically targeting AI voiceover elements. This action follows a complaint from Françoise Cadol, the French voice actress for Lara Croft, who alleged that Aspyr used AI to replicate her voice without permission. Aspyr confirmed the removal of all AI voiceover content while retaining previous updates and expressed regret for any inconvenience caused.
