Bandai Namco will release a new game titled Once Upon a Katamari on October 24, available digitally on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. This is the first new console entry in the Katamari Damacy series since Touch My Katamari in 2011. The game features players rolling a katamari ball to collect objects from various historical eras, with the narrative involving the Prince restoring order after the King of All Cosmos causes chaos. It includes power-ups, 68 customizable cousin characters, and a four-player battle mode called KatamariBall. The series has seen several mobile spin-offs and remakes, but Once Upon a Katamari is the first non-mobile game in 14 years.
