Google has introduced Google Essentials, an application for Windows that simplifies the discovery and installation of its first-party services, including Play Games, Google Photos, and Google Messages, as well as shortcuts to web services like Google Docs, Drive, and Calendar. The app includes a two-month complimentary Google One subscription with 100GB of storage for eligible users. Initially available on HP Windows consumer and gaming brands, including Spectre, Envy, Pavilion, OMEN, and Victus, it will soon extend to all OmniBook brands. Users can uninstall Google Essentials and associated applications, and the app can be accessed from the start menu. Google plans to expand the app's availability to more laptops and desktops in the future.
