Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds lands September with crossplay, Switch 2 and Minecraft

Sega has confirmed that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will launch on September 25, 2025, with early access available on September 22 for the Digital Deluxe Edition. The game will feature online cross-platform matchmaking and will be available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The retail price will be £64.99 for most platforms and £54.99 for Nintendo Switch users. Playable characters include Hatsune Miku, Ichiban Kasuga from Yakuza, and Joker from Persona, along with characters from the Sonic Prime Netflix series. A Minecraft-themed level, kart, and character will be included in a downloadable content Season Pass.

Dungeons & Dragons “single-player action-adventure” game announced for PC and consoles

Wizards of the Coast has partnered with Giant Skull to develop a new single-player action-adventure game set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe. The game is directed by Stig Asmussen and is being built using Unreal Engine 5 for PC and console platforms. No release date has been announced, and details about key art or gameplay mechanics are still pending. Additionally, Wizards of the Coast is collaborating with other studios on various projects, including a G.I. Two Legends Of UK Game Development Team Up For New Spectrum Next & PC Game

Tony Warriner and Stoo Cambridge are developing a new action-arcade adventure game titled UrbX Warriors for Spectrum Next and PC. Once an arcade company, Capcom now sells most of its games on PC

Capcom has experienced a significant increase in PC game sales, surpassing console sales for the first time, with PC games accounting for 54% of total sales. In the last fiscal year, Capcom sold over 51 million software units, a 13% increase from the previous year, with 28 million being digital PC games and 18 million digital console games. Monster Hunter Wilds sold over 10 million units shortly after its release, while Monster Hunter World has lifetime sales of over 21 million, making it Capcom's most successful title. The Resident Evil 4 remake has surpassed 10 million in sales. Capcom plans to leverage its back catalog for growth, with recent releases including Onimusha 2 and the Capcom Fighting Collection 2, and Street Fighter 6 set to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2. Despite the growth in PC sales, Capcom expects console revenue to remain slightly higher through 2027, with mobile revenue projected to outpace both PC and console earnings in the future.
