The mace introduced in Minecraft's 1.21 Tricky Trials update can one-shot every mob in the game and has unlimited damage potential based on fall height. It can be enhanced with powerful enchantments, including mending, unbreaking, smite, bane of arthropods, density, breach, and wind burst. Pairing the mace with the elytra allows players to maximize damage while minimizing fall damage. Crafting the mace requires a heavy core, which has an 8.3% drop rate, making it a mid to late-game item. Its effectiveness is reduced in confined spaces and underwater, and mastering its use requires skill and precision. Overall, the mace is considered well-balanced, providing significant damage potential while necessitating strategic positioning and execution. It serves as a high-damage option within Minecraft's weapon arsenal, contrasting with faster weapons and aligning with the game's lore.

Enchanting a pickaxe in Minecraft allows players to extract multiple diamonds from a single ore block, turning four Diamond ores into 12 Diamonds. The Mace can be enhanced with nine enchantments: Bane of Arthropods, Breach, Curse of Vanishing, Density, Fire Aspect, Mending, Smite, Unbreaking, and Wind Burst. - Bane of Arthropods: Increases damage against arthropods (max level V). - Breach: Reduces target armor effectiveness by 15% per level, capping at 60% (max level IV). - Curse of Vanishing: Causes the item to disappear on player death (max level I). - Density: Increases damage dealt per fallen block by 0.5 per level, with a maximum increase of 2.5 damage per fallen block (max level V). - Fire Aspect: Sets targets hit on fire (max level II). - Mending: Causes the Mace to regenerate durability from experience (max level I). - Smite: Increases damage against undead mobs (max level V). - Unbreaking: Increases the durability of the Mace (max level III). - Wind Burst: Creates a Wind Burst on hit that sends the player into the air, elevating by seven blocks per level, reaching a maximum height of 21 blocks (max level III). Wind Burst forfeits fall damage protection, making Feather Falling recommended.

The Breach enchantment in Minecraft reduces armor effectiveness, making enemies and players less tanky. It can be found in enchanted books, through enchanting tables, or in underground structures or villager trading. There are four levels of the enchantment, with level four reducing armor effectiveness by 60 percent. It is most effective against enemies with diamond or netherite armor with protection IV, as well as creatures with natural armor like zombies and the Wither boss. It is less effective against enemies with no armor buffs.
