New retro PC gaming launches: A playable Tetris documentary, over a dozen Capcom fighting games, and more

In recent weeks, several developer showcases have revealed classic titles set for release in 2024 and 2025, including games that have not been available for PC players for nearly two decades or have never been localized in English. Capcom has announced numerous ports, including the Capcom Fighting Collection 2, which features Capcom vs. SNK titles and the Power Stone series, launching next year on Steam and modern consoles. The Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will be available on September 12, and a bundle of two Ace Attorney series games will launch on September 6, with a demo currently accessible. Microsoft will release Age of Mythology: Retold on September 4, with the premium edition available immediately. The original Resident Evil 2 has been released on GOG, with plans to re-release the original Resident Evil and Resident Evil 3. Konami has announced a bundle of three Castlevania games for Steam and plans to remaster the first two Suikoden RPG entries, set for March 6.
