Beaver-themed city builder Timberborn will leave early access soon, and while there’s no specific date yet, you can try out some of its new features right now

Timberborn is nearing its 1.0 release after four years in early access. The exact launch date is not yet announced, but the update will introduce various enhancements. Key features include constructable spiral staircases, customizable city banners, graphical enhancements with updated skyboxes and light glare effects, and new animations depicting beaver demises. The extensive nature of the update is the reason for the delay in announcing a release date, as it requires heavy testing, which is currently underway. Players can access the experimental 1.0 build with provided instructions.

Four Games Are Available Today With Xbox & PC Game Pass (June 26)

Today, four new titles have been added to the Xbox Game Pass library. Only one game, Against the Storm, is available on console, while three Warcraft remastered titles are exclusive to PC Game Pass. Against the Storm, which has been on PC Game Pass since December 2023, officially arrives on console today, June 26, 2025, and has a Metacritic rating of 91. The Warcraft titles include: - Warcraft 1: Remastered, featuring enhanced visuals and controls from the original 1994 game. - Warcraft 2: Remastered, allowing players to captain fleets in the 1995 title. - Warcraft 3: Reforged, a reimagining of the classic real-time strategy game with updated visuals and narrative.

Timberborn’s latest update adds ziplines and tubeways for rapid beaver deployment and stops your rodent residents from throwing down in sudden fits of breakdancing

Timberborn is a beaver-themed city-building game developed by Mechanistry, currently in early access. The latest update, Update 7, introduces ziplines and tubeways for improved transportation, with tubeways offering a speed advantage by transporting beavers at four times their normal pace. The update also overhauls terrain mechanics, allowing players to place terrain blocks on any solid surface and dig tunnels through the terrain. Additional features include adaptive power shafts for easier power grid reconfiguration, redesigned game maps, and various balance adjustments and bug fixes.
