Shueisha Games has announced the casual non-verbal social deduction action game VIVA NOBOTS, set to launch on PC via Steam in spring 2026, supporting English and Japanese languages. An open beta playtest will take place from December 12 to 18. In VIVA NOBOTS, players act as humans disguised as excavation robots to infiltrate ancient ruins and collect treasures while avoiding detection. Key features include stealing treasures, exposing rival players using the Doubt Gun, and escaping after securing loot. A new humanoid security bot called the "Android" has been introduced, along with a mega-jackpot feature called "GODPOT." Future updates will include cooperative and VS modes and avatar type changes. Trailers and gameplay highlights are available in both English and Japanese.

Wargaming is conducting a four-day beta playtest for its new game, Steel Hunters, which combines mech-hero shooter elements with an extraction battle royale format. The playtest runs until February 24 and is accessible for free on Wargaming's website and Steam. Participants can contribute to a collective performance metric to unlock a permanent skin and compete on a daily leaderboard. The original playtest's battle pass remains active, allowing players to unlock an additional skin. This version includes new and revamped content based on player feedback.

Starbound, an open-world space exploration game, is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One after its initial release in 2016 on PC. The developer, Chucklefish, is conducting a beta playtest on Xbox to gather feedback on the console version, which runs until September 4, 2024. Players can access the beta through the Insider Hub app, and participation is limited. The game has received a "Very Positive" rating on Steam, with 90% of reviews praising it. Starbound is currently available on PC platforms for .99 and is expected to be included in Xbox Game Pass offerings upon its release.
