ININ Games has announced R-Type Dimensions III, coming to PC in May 2026

ININ Games has announced R-Type Dimensions III, set to launch on PC in May 2026. The game will feature high-end 3D graphics, enhanced animations, and detailed environments while capturing the essence of the original arcade games. It will include several new gameplay modes, such as a local co-op mode and an Advanced mode for seasoned players. Players will have the option to toggle between 3D graphics and classic 2D sprites. This roguelike take on Geometry Wars is the best game I’ve played this month, and the latest to become a permanent fixture on my Steam Deck

Sektori is a twin-stick shooter reminiscent of Geometry Wars, featuring a three-card upgrade system similar to Vampire Survivors. The gameplay involves controlling a ship shaped like an arrow in a dynamic arena filled with unique rogue polygon enemies. The game features vibrant visuals and an energetic soundtrack, demanding high focus from players due to its challenging mechanics. Players start with a shield that can withstand only three hits, and the arena's boundaries add to the difficulty. Collecting defeated enemies' triangles leads to blue upgrade tokens, which can be used to enhance the ship's abilities. Yellow "Evolve" tokens allow players to choose from three upgrades, adding strategic depth. The game includes eight card decks with unlockable abilities, and players can trigger "Rainbow Mode" by collecting letters to spell "MIRAGE." Boss encounters present significant challenges, with some balancing issues noted in the first boss fight. Overall, Sektori offers a rich and immersive gaming experience, quickly becoming a favorite among players.

How to beat the Hollow Knight Silksong Savage Beastfly

The Savage Beastfly is an oversized Diptera found in Hunter's March, specifically in the Chapel of the Beast, located in the bottom-right corner. Players must equip the Drifter's Cloak to access this area and should secure the Hunter's March bench before entering the chapel. The Beastfly has two primary attacks: a long-range charge and a triple downward slam, and it summons smaller Beastflies and spike-spouting Kiliks. Players can defeat it by timing their dodges and managing summoned enemies effectively, utilizing tools like the Silk Storm ability and the Reaper Crest for healing and mobility. In the Far Fields, the Savage Beastfly appears in the Fourth Chorus boss arena, accessible after accepting the Savage Beastfly wish quest from the wish board in Bellhart. Players need to defeat the Cogwork Dancers in Act 2 to unlock this quest. Enhancements like the Clawline skill and Faydown Cloak improve mobility during the fight. The second Beastfly retains similar abilities but introduces sticky fireball-spewing Tarflies. Players should eliminate Tarflies quickly and utilize tools like Sting Shards and Flea Brew for effective damage management. Defeating the Beastfly rewards players with a mask shard, completing the quest.
