Windows 11 24H2 adds a toggle to turn off Notifications bell on the taskbar

In Windows 11 Build 26236, new features include a toggle to turn off the notifications bell icon and another toggle to shorten the time and date display. Microsoft is also improving the Settings app by bringing more pages from the Control Panel to Settings, such as color profile management and fonts management. Other improvements coming to Settings include a new Color management page, advanced toggle for Storage Pool settings, and settings to manage device Encryption in Windows 11 Pro edition. The Control Panel will eventually be phased out in future Windows releases.
