Linux has evolved significantly in the gaming sector, becoming a credible alternative to Microsoft for PC gaming, aided by tools like Proton and a dedicated community. However, challenges remain, such as compatibility issues and a lack of native Linux game versions. The introduction of DirectX by Microsoft solidified Windows as the primary gaming platform, creating a focus on Windows that disadvantages Linux. Proton allows many Windows games to run on Linux but does not create native versions, and essential software for graphics cards is often missing. Currently, Windows holds over a 95% share in the Steam hardware survey, while Linux accounts for only 2.69%. Despite progress, Linux still faces a long journey to become a mainstream gaming platform.

Administrators use the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) service to manage IP address configurations for clients efficiently. Deploying multiple DHCP scopes on a single server is more practical than having separate servers for each subnet. DHCP operates through a four-step lease process: discover, offer, request, and acknowledge. To install a DHCP server, the PowerShell cmdlet Install-WindowsFeature DHCP -IncludeManagementTools is used, and the server must be authorized in Active Directory. A single DHCP server can manage multiple scopes, each with specific configurations for different subnets, such as DevNet, ProdNet, SalesNet, and EngineersNet. Each scope can have unique IP address ranges and settings, and additional scopes can be created by adding network interface cards (NICs) to the server. Server options apply globally, while scope options are specific to individual scopes. Reserved IP addresses can also be configured within each scope.

Shuffle Tactics is a deckbuilding roguelike game that revitalizes established mechanics within the genre. Players navigate grid-based maps filled with enemies and objectives, using action points to deploy cards for attacking and defending. The game features three distinct characters with unique specialties: the Doberknight, an archer with ricocheting arrows, and a turret specialist, along with a magic user. Players can customize their combat decks by adding or removing cards after encounters and can acquire relics for passive effects and items to enhance specific cards. The game allows players to recruit sidekicks with their own decks. Each playthrough offers a unique experience, although some mechanics lack adequate explanation. The narrative involves a king who has gone mad, but it serves more as a minor distraction than a central focus.

Google Pay has been expanding its BNPL offerings since 2024, incorporating providers like Affirm and Zip. Additionally, Google has updated its card information interaction methods to include biometric security measures. There are also indications of a new feature for Google Wallet that would allow users to add cards via NFC technology, although users will still need to enter the card's CVV for security. The NFC Forum has suggested plans for broader NFC technology capabilities.
