Death Stranding Director’s Cut Launches on Xbox Game Pass for PC and Console

Death Stranding Director’s Cut is now available on Xbox Game Pass for both console and PC, marking its first appearance on Microsoft's subscription service. This version, developed by KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS and published by 505 Games, is accessible to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Premium subscribers. The Director’s Cut includes new features such as a new story location called the Ruined Factory, new delivery tools like cargo catapults and support ramps, an expanded combat system with new melee moves and the Maser Gun, a firing range for weapon testing, and a racetrack mode for time-based challenges. The game has been optimized for performance on handheld devices. It is also available for purchase through the Xbox Games Store.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which won nine awards including game of the year, is available for .99, its lowest price to date. Silent Hill f, set in 1960s Japan, is priced at .99 for Prime members. Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is available for .97, approximately 30% off the regular price. Split Fiction is available for both Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5 for .99.

Finji announces arcade game collection CorgiSpace for PC, now available

Finji has released CorgiSpace, a collection of small arcade video games for PC and Mac on platforms like Steam and itch.io, priced at .99 / £4.29 / €4.99. The games are created using the PICO-8 game engine and are designed for quick play sessions under an hour. CorgiSpace includes over a dozen games, such as Kuiper Cargo, Cave of Cards, Mole Mole, Dino Sort, and Rat Dreams, each with unique gameplay mechanics. To celebrate the launch, Finji is hosting CorgiJam, a game jam from December 10, 2025, to January 11, 2026, culminating in a live-streamed event on January 19, 2026, where submitted games will be played and commented on by the Finji team and special guests.

Cities: Skylines 2’s bicycle update adds a lot more than just bikes, as Colossal Order prepares to hand over development to a new studio

Colossal Order is transitioning the development of Cities: Skylines 2 to Iceflake Studios. Before this handover, a new bike patch has been introduced, adding bicycles and electric scooters to the game, along with infrastructure for a bicycle-friendly environment. Players can now create dedicated bicycle paths and lanes, and various types of bike parks have been added for secure parking. The update also includes a new campfire area, business plazas, and new transportation buildings such as a train depot, railway terminus station, cargo transfer station, and three new tram stations. Additionally, two new types of wind turbines and a small cemetery have been introduced. Colossal Order plans to implement Asset Mods before the official transition at the beginning of next year, after which Iceflake Studios will take over development. The reasons for this transfer remain unclear, but Paradox Interactive has a history of reallocating projects among developers.

Steam’s biggest survival game warns players must “pivot or die” as transformative new update unleashes an extreme wipe

Facepunch Studios released the November Rust update, emphasizing a "Pivot or die" approach. The update revamps the progression system by introducing a comprehensive wipe of all blueprints and reducing the costs for tech tree and research unlocks: Common from 20 to 15, Uncommon from 75 to 30, Rare from 125 to 60, and Very Rare from 500 to 120. Scrap crafting costs have been removed from workbenches. The update also introduces new features such as powered Storage Adaptors, a Mini Fridge with 18 slots, expanded CCTV integration, and the return of monument puzzles. Adjustments have been made to helicopters, including the inability to repair in-flight and restrictions on using healing foods while piloting. The painting menu has been revamped, and off-ground foliage now reacts to moving objects. Regular blueprint wipes may be considered based on player feedback.

We’ve finally got a new ship simulation game, and it launches tomorrow
