Google Wallet is undergoing a redesign of its Android app to enhance user experience, particularly in managing passes. The app's homepage layout has been changed, with passes now displayed in pairs and featuring themed backgrounds. Users can reorder passes by dragging them and have more control over which passes appear on the homepage. The floating action button has been replaced with a centered split-button, directing users to "Add to Wallet" and a new page for searching transactions and loyalty cards. This section is divided into Transactions and Passes for easy access. The redesigned Google Wallet is being rolled out across devices, and users should update to the latest versions of Google Wallet and Google Play services (stable 26.15.33) to access the new features.

Windows 11's File Explorer has been criticized for sluggish performance, with users experiencing unresponsive commands and crashes. Windows 10 still retains over 30% of the desktop Windows market share despite being out of support. Disabling the "Automatic Folder Type Discovery" feature can enhance File Explorer's speed. This feature scans folders and assigns view types based on contents, which can slow down access, especially in folders with many files. To disable it, users must back up the Registry and navigate to a specific path in the Registry Editor to create a new string value named "FolderType" with the value "NotSpecified." After making this change, users will notice improved loading speed, but folders will display a generic view instead of one tailored to specific file types.

Microsoft has introduced the Drop Tray in Windows 11, replacing the previous Drag Tray to enhance file sharing. The Drop Tray features a more compact design and aims to minimize accidental openings while being easily dismissible. It is expected to roll out to all Windows 11 PCs by May as part of a set of reliability fixes. The new design encourages users to engage with it intentionally for file sharing, improving usability for those with desktop folders. The option to enable or disable the Drop Tray can now be found under Settings > System > Multitasking > Drop Tray.

Asha Sharma, the new head of Xbox, announced that Game Pass subscribers will no longer receive new Call of Duty titles on launch day; instead, these games will be available a year later. This change is part of a strategy to reassess the availability of the franchise due to concerns about profitability. However, Activision plans to enhance the Game Pass library by adding more titles from the Call of Duty back catalog this year. Currently, only a few recent entries are available, with the oldest being Call of Duty: WW2 from 2017. Potential additions to Game Pass could include classic titles from the series, such as Call of Duty (2003), Call of Duty 2 (2005), Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007), and others, including the 2021 title Call of Duty: Vanguard, which has not been available on Game Pass.
