The hurricane, a category 4 storm, caused over 200 fatalities and extensive damage across several states, particularly affecting the southern Appalachians. The event will accept speedrun submissions until midnight ET on October 6, with the marathon running from 6 PM ET on October 11 to midnight on October 13.
