Elias Toufexis, known for his role as Adam Jensen, discussed his experiences with social media during a conversation with PC Gamer's Ted Litchfield at GDC. He expressed fatigue with the negativity on platforms like X and admitted to struggling with engaging in controversial discussions. Toufexis highlighted a specific instance of outrage directed at Bungie, noting a comment wishing for the studio's failure due to perceived political ideologies. He welcomed constructive criticism but criticized the excessive negativity and outrage culture online. Toufexis reflected on the scrutiny faced by projects like Starfield and Star Trek: Discovery regarding diversity initiatives, finding some criticisms to be unproductive. Despite these challenges, he observed a shift towards more positive comments in online reviews and expressed hope for a more constructive online discourse in the future.

Microsoft is integrating its AI assistant, Copilot, into Windows 11 with a new docking feature that allows it to coexist with other applications. Users can access a drop-down menu in the title bar for "snapping" options, enabling Copilot to dock on the left or right side of the screen. The interface adjusts automatically to accommodate the docked Copilot, which can occupy space alongside other applications. Copilot has undergone several redesigns and is now packaged as an Edge-based wrapper, although the reasons for this bundling are unclear.

Recent feedback from Windows 11 users has led Microsoft to simplify the process of uninstalling Copilot due to dissatisfaction with its integration. A Group Policy option titled “Remove Microsoft Copilot app” has been introduced in the April 2026 Update, allowing users to remove Copilot via User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows AI. Users can also uninstall Copilot directly from the installed apps list or by right-clicking the icon, although it may reappear after a fresh installation due to certain updates. To uninstall Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot using Group Policy, the following conditions must be met: both apps must be installed, the user did not install them independently, and the Copilot app has not been used for over 28 days. This policy is supported on Pro, Enterprise, Education, and IoT Enterprise or LTSC versions of Windows 11. Windows 11 Home users can manually remove Copilot by creating a registry key at HKEYCURRENTUSERSoftwarePoliciesMicrosoftWindowsWindowsAI and setting a DWORD value named RemoveMicrosoftCopilotApp to 1. Alternatively, users can execute a PowerShell script to remove Copilot. Microsoft has not provided an uninstall option for Copilot in the Start menu.

Sony is committing to keeping narrative single-player games exclusive to the PlayStation 5, with titles like Saros, Ghost of Yotei, Marvel’s Wolverine, and Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet confirmed for the platform. Multiplayer titles will still be available on both PC and PlayStation. The PC gaming community has reacted with disappointment, with many gamers expressing indifference toward purchasing a PS5 for a few exclusive titles. Industry analysts speculate that disappointing sales of PlayStation titles on PC and the emergence of the next Xbox may have influenced Sony's decision. Historically, Sony has taken a staggered release approach for its games, while Microsoft has favored simultaneous launches. The rising costs of the PS5 and its games are raising questions about the sustainability of Sony's exclusivity strategy.

Lords of the Fallen 2, the third installment in the series, is progressing towards a tentative launch in 2026 after a gameplay showcase at The Game Awards 2025. CI Games has concluded its multi-year exclusivity agreement with Epic Games, allowing the game to potentially launch on Steam while maintaining collaboration with Epic for Unreal Engine and other services. The exclusivity termination is described as "conditional in nature." The console versions will remain unaffected by these changes. The game has sparked discussions due to comments from CI Games' CEO about "political correctness" and the introduction of more revealing armor sets for female characters. Eurogamer's review of the rebooted Lords of the Fallen rated it two stars, noting it as "a perfectly acceptable Soulslike" but critiquing it for "Soulslike clichés and performance woes."
