A developer named angelthebox has created a Minecraft server called Macerun that runs on the ESP32-S3 microcontroller, using Minecraft version 1.16.5 rewritten in C. Key features include the ability for players to join the server, explore the world, place and break blocks, procedural world chunk generation, basic crafting mechanics with 2x2 recipes, in-game chat, and tracking of basic physics, health, and hunger. Changes to blocks are saved to the chip's flash memory. However, the server lacks mobs, 3x3 crafting recipes, and the ability to retain player inventories and positions after exiting. The source code is available on the Macerun GitHub page.

Denuvo's DRM has been successfully bypassed for Resident Evil: Requiem, which was released over 40 days ago, by the cracker voices38. The cracked version improves performance by approximately 5% in frames per second (FPS) and reduces resource consumption, with a decrease of 1.5 to 2 GB in VRAM usage and nearly 1 GB in system memory requirements. Initial tests on a high-end system show fewer CPU usage spikes and improved frametimes. Additionally, a new version of the hypervisor-based bypass (HV) is being developed to allow use without disabling Windows security features. Irdeto, Denuvo's parent company, is facing challenges as it promises enhancements to its software.

Maximillian Christiansen, known as Maximilian Dood, is offering a financial reward for integrating rollback netcode into Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, which currently uses a delay-based netcode that affects gameplay. He previously invested nearly ,000 into a mod for Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite in 2024. Rollback netcode improves online play by anticipating player actions, resulting in a smoother experience compared to delay-based systems. Christiansen aims to enhance the online experience for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and draws inspiration from the Super Smash Bros. Melee community, which successfully implemented rollback netcode through an emulator wrapper.
