This liquid-cooled Android tablet runs PC games natively, and now everyone can buy it

REDMAGIC has launched a new liquid-cooled gaming tablet called Astra 2, equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, native PC game emulation support, and a unique design with blue-hued liquid-cooling mechanism and RGB lighting. The tablet features a 9-inch OLED display with an 185Hz refresh rate, 2.4K resolution, and a split 8,300mAh battery for faster charging. It also has two USB-C ports with USB 3.2 Gen 2 and supports DisplayPort output. The tablet comes in two configurations with RAM and storage options and will be available globally next month, starting at 9 for the base variant and 9 for the higher trim.

How to get Cryogenic Coolant in Palworld

In Palworld, players can craft Cryogenic Coolant, which is essential for creating items like saddles for Jormuntide, advanced coolers, and cold-resistant metal armor. To craft Cryogenic Coolant, players must unlock several upgrades in the Technology menu by reaching specific levels: Level 26 for the Power Generator, Level 29 for the Production Assembly Line, and Level 31 for Cryogenic Coolant. Establishing a Production Assembly Line requires a Power Generator and the following resources: 150 ingots, 5 wooden boards, 20 nails, 10 cement, and 20 Electric Organs. Nails and wooden boards are available at Levels 10 and 15, respectively, while cement becomes available at Level 19. Electric Organs can be obtained by capturing, killing, butchering, or breeding electric pals. To craft Cryogenic Coolant, players need 1 Aquatic Pal Fluid and 1 Ice Organ, with Aquatic Pal Fluids sourced from water pals and Ice Organs from ice pals.

Master overclocker Roman "Der8auer" Hartung has demonstrated a spray cooling technique for the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which involves applying coolant directly to the CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS). This method, a variant of phase-change cooling, allows the coolant to transition from liquid to gas upon contact with the heated CPU, effectively removing thermal energy. Der8auer used 3M Novec 7000 coolant, which has a boiling point of 34°C, although it will be banned in the EU later this year. The experiment consumed approximately 500ml of coolant in 15 minutes, maintaining CPU temperatures between 60-70°C during light workloads and completing the Cinebench multi-core test.
