Thick as Thieves is making changes, but not the one I think matters most

OtherSide Entertainment, the developers of Thick as Thieves, expressed satisfaction with player engagement but acknowledged room for improvement. A second update is scheduled for release mid-next week, which will include features like key rebinding. However, the option to adjust or remove mission timers is still absent, causing concern among players. The game features solo or cooperative missions with time constraints of 30 to 45 minutes, and an eight-minute countdown begins after completing any objective. Failing to reach the exit before time runs out results in mission failure. The developers have made the mission timer visible to enhance transparency, but concerns remain about the rigidity of the game's design regarding the timer and item retrieval.

We’ve finally got a new ship simulation game, and it launches tomorrow

Seafarer is a new simulation game focused on maritime operations, currently in early access, with over 30 hours of gameplay across two factions: Crescentport Logistics and Tide Guard. Players can command a tugboat and cargo ferry or engage with police and firefighting vessels. The game features an initial story mode and a quick play mode for casual gameplay. Developer Astragon plans to release updates, including a free Bulk and LNG expansion with new vessels later this year. Seafarer is set to launch into early access on October 7, available on Steam.

Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions is a cooperative multiplayer game developed by System Era Softworks and published by Devolver Digital, set to be released in 2026. Players start their journey on a space station with up to four participants and explore a quirky planet, engaging in various objectives such as battling alien lifeforms and scavenging for "space loot." The gameplay includes exploration of colorful terrains and alien oceans, featuring both confrontations with extraterrestrial foes and interactions with benign creatures like sentient carrots.
