Future updates are expected to introduce a ChatGPT-powered Agent that can open a terminal and browser within a Linux shell on an Azure cloud virtual machine, enabling automation of tasks. Microsoft aims to enhance Copilot's utility for managing documents and file searches on PCs.

Microsoft 365 is getting a ‘massive’ redesign early next year

Microsoft will rebrand its Microsoft 365 app as "Microsoft 365 Copilot" and introduce a new user interface in mid-January 2025.
