Layered armor in Monster Hunter Wilds unlocks after reaching High Rank, which is achieved by defeating the Yian Kut-Ku in the Scarlet Forest. Players can access the Equipment Appearance menu from their tent to toggle armor visibility and use pre-order DLC cosmetics. Crafting High Rank armor automatically transforms it into layered armor, simplifying the process compared to previous titles. To equip layered armor or adjust visibility, players navigate to the Appearance Menu in their tent, where they can select layered armor, toggle display options, change colors, and add pendants to weapons.

Just two weeks after launch, ‘extraction survival horror’ game Level Zero: Extraction ends development: ‘It’s no longer feasible for our relatively small teams to sustain the game’

Level Zero: Extraction, a multiplayer extraction survival horror game, has been deemed unsustainable just two weeks after its launch on Steam due to underperformance. The game's player count peaked at over 2,600 concurrent players but fell below 100 by mid-October, and shortly after its official release in January 2025, it peaked at only 98 players and currently has around 20. The development team has confirmed that no new content will be added, although servers will remain operational with monthly wipes. The final patch was released on January 30, 2025. The developer, DogHowl, is shifting focus to a new co-op multiplayer project, hoping to apply lessons learned from Level Zero: Extraction.

Previously, players used mods to bypass the PSN login requirement, which posed risks. The issue gained attention during the release of Helldivers 2 in 2024, leading to a backlash that prompted Sony to change its policy. Players can now enjoy titles like God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and Last of Us Part II Remastered without needing a PSN account, although some games, like Ghost of Tsushima, still require it for online multiplayer. Linking accounts offers exclusive content, including cosmetics and in-game currency.
