Hades 2, the Award-Winning Sequel, Lands on Xbox Game Pass Soon

Hades 2 has been recognized as one of CNET's best games of 2025, winning Best Action Game at the 2025 Game of the Year awards and Best Game on Steam Deck at the Steam Awards. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting Tuesday. Xbox Game Pass offers a library of games for a monthly fee, with the premium Game Pass Ultimate subscription providing access to hundreds of games, including new releases on launch day. DayZ, a multiplayer survival game, is now available on Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Essential, and PC Game Pass. Endless Legend 2, a fantasy strategy game, has been added to Game Pass Premium. FBC: Firebreak, a first-person shooter, is also new to Game Pass Premium. Planet Coaster 2, a park management game, is part of Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. Tiny Bookshop, a management game, is available on Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. Football Manager 26 has been added to Game Pass Premium. Hades 2 is set to launch on April 14, continuing the story of Melinoe. Replaced and The Thaumaturge will also debut on April 14. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will be available on Game Pass Premium starting April 16, along with EA Sports NHL 26. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will launch on April 17. Edwin has been sent outdoors to reconnect with nature after his last adventure and is expected to return to normal by teatime on Tuesday. Jeremy has returned from family outings in London and Paris and is busy completing a secret upcoming game for a walkthrough, while also enjoying Franco-Belgium comics. Ollie has escaped the Maw but needs time to recuperate after an encounter with Edwin. Julian anticipates a busy weekend due to a stag do but looks forward to playing strategy games afterward.

PC Gamer’s ‘first can’t-miss cozy game of 2026’ has gone missing on Steam, and some players think Tetris is to blame

PC Gamer's Mollie Taylor praised the Starsand Island demo in December 2025, while Lauren Morton called it "the first can't-miss cozy game of 2026" in February. The game is currently unavailable on Steam due to the developer, Seed Sparkle Lab, using unauthorized visual elements from a classic title in their mini-game section. They apologized for this oversight and are working on a new build to remove the contentious content. Fans speculate the classic title might be Tetris, but this is unconfirmed. Seed Sparkle has decided to temporarily delist Starsand Island and will reward current owners with the "Shining Star" outfit set once the revised version is approved. Players' progress will remain intact. The studio is enhancing its internal review processes following this incident and a previous wave of fake positive user reviews. A specific return date for the game on Steam has not been disclosed, but it is still available on the Xbox Store.

Long-Awaited Open World Survival Game Finally Sets Release Date for PC & Consoles

Solarpunk, a survival game developed by Cyberwave and rokaplay, is set to launch on June 8th, 2026, across multiple platforms including Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game has been in development since its unveiling in 2023 and has become one of the most wishlisted games on Steam. It features crafting, farming, exploration, and base-building mechanics, set in a charming 3D world with floating islands. Players can engage in single-player or optional multiplayer co-op, crafting airships to explore and gather resources. Solarpunk will launch without Early Access, providing the complete experience from day one. Pricing details have not yet been announced.
