Remedy is releasing a significant update called Breakpoint for its cooperative multiplayer game, FBC Firebreak, which has faced criticism for bugs and lack of mission variety since its launch. The game allows players to take on the roles of the Federal Bureau of Control's elite response team to neutralize paranormal threats. The update will introduce a revamped mission structure through a new Crisis Board, increase mission variety, and add a new crisis in the research sector with three new weapons. A comprehensive onboarding experience with a tutorial and improved user interface will also be implemented. Additionally, players will have the option to customize their weapons with gun mods. Breakpoint is set to launch on September 29, with further updates planned for November 2025 and March 2026.

Ubisoft has transferred the unfinished project, Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, to independent publisher Hooded Horse for completion and launch. The original developers, Unfrozen, will continue to be involved in the project. The game is anticipated to enter Early Access in 2025. Tim Bender, CEO of Hooded Horse, and Alain Corre, Ubisoft's chief publishing officer, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. Ubisoft's decision to hand off the project may be related to recent company transformations, including the creation of a new entity focused on core intellectual properties, excluding Heroes of Might and Magic.
