Roblox taps Airbnb vet as chief creator ecosystem officer

Roblox has appointed Vlad Loktev as its new chief creator ecosystem officer. Loktev has a decade of experience at Airbnb and a significant role at Zynga, where he increased daily active users of Words with Friends to 14 million. In his new role, he will lead initiatives for creators, develop tools for developers, foster developer relations, and organize platform events. Roblox recently achieved over 45 million concurrent users and set a world record with 24.2 million concurrent users in the game Steal a Brainrot. The platform plans to channel ten percent of all gaming content revenue through its ecosystem and is investing in AI infrastructure to support its operations.
