GeForce NOW Brings GeForce RTX Gaming to Linux PCs

The native GeForce NOW app for Linux PCs is now available in beta, supporting Ubuntu 24.04 and later, allowing users to stream games with GeForce RTX capabilities directly from the cloud. Tactical FPS Delta Force reveals some ambitious future plans, offering something Battlefield 6 can’t

Delta Force has introduced a new season featuring a fresh operator, fighter jets, and a crossover with Metal Gear Solid. The game will face competition from Battlefield 6 and the upcoming 1.0 update of Escape From Tarkov. A new "full-scene" destruction system will allow players to destroy buildings across maps, with initial changes expected by early 2026. In the extraction mode, players will be able to play as bosses with unique loadouts and recruit defeated opponents. Google Play Games on PC transitioned from beta to general availability on September 23, 2023, after being in beta since January 2022. The platform is now accessible in 130 countries and offers over 200,000 titles, including popular games like Subnautica and Enter the Gungeon. All Android games available in the Play Store can now be played on PC, expanding the selection for users. Enhancements include a streamlined method for tracking gaming statistics and achievements, as well as new Gen AI avatars for user profiles.

Newzoo: Top 20 PC/Console Games by Revenue and MAU (August’25)

In August, three new titles entered the top 20 revenue rankings: EA Sports Madden NFL 26 (2nd), Mafia: The Old Country (6th), and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (15th). Mafia: The Old Country generated about two-thirds of its revenue from PlayStation. World of Warcraft rose to 8th place, boosted by preorders for its Midnight expansion. Apex Legends returned to the top 20 after a recent update. Helldivers II debuted at 2nd place in Xbox revenue, while Gears of War: Reloaded entered at 14th on PlayStation. The Nintendo Switch had three new titles in the top 20: Tiny Bookshop (3rd), EA Sports Madden NFL 26 (10th), and Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar (15th). In Monthly Active Users (MAU), Battlefield 6 entered at 3rd place, and Battlefield 2042 returned to the top 20. Delta Force also ranked due to its console launch, and Helldivers II saw increased activity from its update. Tiny Bookshop was the only new entry in the MAU rankings for the Nintendo Switch.
