The mace introduced in Minecraft's 1.21 Tricky Trials update can one-shot every mob in the game and has unlimited damage potential based on fall height. It can be enhanced with powerful enchantments, including mending, unbreaking, smite, bane of arthropods, density, breach, and wind burst. Pairing the mace with the elytra allows players to maximize damage while minimizing fall damage. Crafting the mace requires a heavy core, which has an 8.3% drop rate, making it a mid to late-game item. Its effectiveness is reduced in confined spaces and underwater, and mastering its use requires skill and precision. Overall, the mace is considered well-balanced, providing significant damage potential while necessitating strategic positioning and execution. It serves as a high-damage option within Minecraft's weapon arsenal, contrasting with faster weapons and aligning with the game's lore.

Density is an Enchantment in Minecraft exclusive to the Mace that increases the amount of damage dealt when using a smash attack. The Mace does increased damage based on how many blocks in height you have fallen, and the Density enchantment further increases the damage dealt with the attack.

- Density enchantment significantly increases the mace's damage in Minecraft. - Density enchantment can be obtained by using an enchanting table with lapis lazuli or by looting structures that generate enchanted books. - Density adds a fixed damage value per block fallen to the mace, depending on its level. - Each level of the density enchantment adds half a point of damage or one-quarter of a heart for each fallen block in Minecraft. - Density enchantment is incompatible with breach, smite, and bane of arthropods enchantments.
