3D platformer action adventure game Big Hops announced for PC

Big Hops is a 3D platformer where players control Hop, a young frog kidnapped by a spirit named Diss. The objective is to reunite with Hop's family by gathering Airship Parts while navigating challenges such as infiltrating the Gulley Gang’s Hideout, rescuing workers from DrillCO, and sneaking past cultists. The game features self-contained narratives in each world, with dynamic gameplay mechanics centered on movement and frog-tongue interactions. Players can use various Veggies for creative problem-solving, and collectibles enhance gameplay and customization options. The game includes four main worlds—Forest, Desert, Ocean, and Mountain—offering diverse environments and challenges. Chris Wade, the creator, aimed to modernize the 3D platformer genre, drawing inspiration from various games and shows.

NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation and Other RTX Updates Shown Off for Upcoming and Existing PC Games

NVIDIA's DLSS 4 technology is integrated into over 125 games and applications. Portal with RTX has upgraded from DLSS 3.5 to DLSS 4, improving performance with the GeForce RTX 5090 achieving an average of 277 frames per second. Roadcraft will launch with DLSS Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, and DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, running at over 250 frames per second on the RTX 5090. SplitGate 2 will fully integrate DLSS 4 technologies in its Open Beta, while NARAKA: Bladepoint will receive a path tracing update, showcasing approximately 350 frames per second. F1 25 will launch on May 24 with DLSS 4 technologies, and Dune: Awakening will feature these technologies in early June. MindsEye will launch on June 10 with full DLSS 4 support, followed by Remedy's FBC: Firebreak on June 17. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will launch on July 24 with complete DLSS technologies but without ray tracing. inZOI will receive a DLSS 4 update in August. Horizon 'clone' Light of Motiram runs at over 400 frames per second with DLSS 4 technologies. Crimson Desert will incorporate DLSS 4 technologies and ray-traced effects, aiming for high-quality graphics and smooth gameplay.

You can now craft one of the rarest items in Minecraft, all thanks to its latest update

Players can now craft saddles in Minecraft after 15 years, introduced with Snapshot 25w20a. The crafting recipe requires 3 pieces of leather and 1 iron ingot, available after collecting the first piece of leather. Additionally, shears can be used to remove saddles from mobs, and leash mechanics have been enhanced to connect multiple animals to the same leash.

It took 15 YEARS for Minecraft to let us craft this item, but it’s finally coming (plus new music and more)

Minecraft is introducing the ability to craft saddles, a feature currently being tested by select insiders and expected to be unveiled at Minecraft Live in March 2025. Players have traditionally acquired saddles through scavenging, trading, or defeating enemies. The upcoming update will also include five new music tracks for various biomes and a collectible music disc titled "Tears," obtainable by defeating a Ghast with its own fireball. Additionally, two new friendly Ghast mob variants will be introduced, allowing players to ride them. Early builds for testing are available, while the official game drop will bring these new features to the broader community.
