Cult raising simulation game TOMAK: Save the Earth Regeneration now available for PC

Stormgate, the StarCraft-like RTS that launched last summer, is losing online multiplayer support because its server partner was bought by an AI company

Google introduces a new video generation model as OpenAI shutters Sora app

Google has launched Veo 3.1 Lite, an AI video generation model for professional developers, priced at five cents per second for 720p video and eight cents per second for 1080p video. It is only available to paying users of Google AI Studio and does not support 4K video. Clip lengths are limited to four, six, or eight seconds, and formats include landscape (16:9) and portrait (9:16). The Google Play Store has a serious problem with shady cast-to-TV apps

Clever WoW players exploited bugs and some poor little rats to try and kill a Midnight raid boss early, but Blizzard was one step ahead

Players in the MMO community attempted to defeat the upcoming raid boss L'ura a week before its official release, but Blizzard implemented safeguards to prevent this. Rextroy devised a strategy using a sacrificial rat and a monk attack that could deal around 100 million damage. On the day of the attempt, Rextroy's team gathered rats and used a toy to reduce their damage output, successfully reducing L'ura's health by half with the first rat. However, when they sacrificed the second rat, L'ura remained unscathed due to Blizzard programming her to be unkillable before the official release. Despite the setback, Rextroy and his team later achieved success against a mythic+ boss and engaged in PvP encounters. They became the first players to attempt to defeat L'ura as a coalition of monks and rats.

Google Rolls Out Developer Verification for Android Sideloaded Apps

Google introduced developer verification features for the Android Developer Console and Google Play Console on March 30, 2026, to enhance security against malware from sideloaded applications. Sideloaded apps are known to contain over 90 times more malware than those on the Google Play Store. Developers can establish accounts on the Android Developer Console for verification, and existing apps on the Google Play Console will be automatically recognized as verified if they meet the new requirements.
